Although in a different sport, Matthew Ladd is blazing a path similar to that of his sister, Mallory.
Both were standout student-athletes at Memorial High School who settled on the University of Evansville as their college choice. But while basketball-playing Mallory had a full scholarship in a fully funded sport, Matthew is getting help elsewhere.
On Tuesday, Matthew signed a contract that officially recognized him as this year’s Dan Scism Scholarship Award recipient. He will get a total of $25,000 over the next four years to help him complete his education at UE, where he plans to play golf.Read Courier Press Article
